Upload to File Convert to a ClassFlow Lesson Option
In Resources, the Convert and File Upload option have been combined to make it easy and straightforward to convert existing content to a ClassFlow Lesson. When uploading a Flipchart (.flipchart), Smart Notebook (.notebook), PDF (.pdf), or PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx), you will be given the option to convert that file to a ClassFlow Lesson or simply upload the file to your Resources. All other file type will directly upload to Resources as before.
Student File Convert to Lesson
Students can now convert Flipchart (.flipchart), Smart Notebook (.Notebook), PDF (.pdf), or PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) to a ClassFlow Lesson to edit in Lesson Builder.
Convert PDF to Lesson
Teachers and Students can now convert a PDF file type to a ClassFlow Lesson on the web. This feature currently exists in ClassFlow Desktop and is now available on the web. Each PDF page will display as an image on a Lesson Card.
<25 File Upload Limit
Teachers and students will now only be able to upload 25 files at a time to their resources. This change is to help with the performance of uploading and converting files to resources and to make sure that other system issues do not occur with bulk uploading file to resources.
Max 100 MB File Upload Size
Teachers and students will only be able to upload files that are less than 100 MB to their resources. This change is to help with the performance of uploading and converting files to resources and to make sure that other system issues do not occur with bulk uploading file to resources.
Insert Image Files into Whiteboard
In Whiteboard, you can now insert image files from your Resources directly to your Lesson. After they have been uploaded to your Resources, you can select a single PNG, JPG, or JPEG images from your Resources. Once you select attach, the image will be inserted in the middle of the lesson card that is currently selected.
Drag and Drop Files into Whiteboard
In Whiteboard, you are able to drag and drop image file from your file browser directly onto your lesson cards. You can drag a single PNG, JPG, or JPEG image file onto the lesson card and it will be inserted in the middle of the lesson card that is currently selected. If the file is not one of these three file types, you will see a red indicator and the file will not be inserted onto the lesson card.
Change Default Eraser Size
Whiteboard will remember the previous eraser setting and default to that size each time you enter Whiteboard.
Decreased Transparency of the Highlighter Tool
The transparency of the highlighter tool has been decreased so that you are able to clearly see text and objects behind highlighter annotations.
Duplicate to Student Card
In order to simply the process of creating a student card, you can now duplicate the teacher card to the student card track without having to copy and move the teacher card. Once you select Duplicate to Student Card from the menu options on the card summary panel, all contents from that teacher card will be duplicated to the student card track. You can overwrite the current card content in the student track by selecting the option again. Please note, you will not be able to undo this function, but you can remove the student card from the lesson.
Improving the Quality of Inserted PDFs
The image of inserted PDF files in Presenter and Preview has been increased to improve quality on high resolution panels.
Active Class and Deliver
If a SIS class nickname has been changed, it will display as the nickname versus the SIS roster name. This is only available for teachers with SIS roster classes.
Select Class to Deliver in Resources and Marketplace
You will be prompted to select a class to deliver to from your Resources and Marketplace. You can select the current active class or switch to a new active class.
ClassFlow PowerPoint Plugin will no longer be available for download from ClassFlow. Moving forward, we will no longer be supporting and maintaining ClassFlow PowerPoint Plugin.
ClassFlow Moments will no longer be available for download on the iOS App Store or the Android Google Play store. Moving forward, we will no longer be supporting and maintaining ClassFlow Moments mobile app.
