ActiView Black Screen Issue

Greetings,
We're running into a very strange issue with our ActiView doc cams where our teachers who have them will be actively working on their machine and the screen will randomly turn black. It's only limited to our staff who use the ActivView's and we've had a heck of a time trying to find a solution.

All machines are running Windows 10 build 1703. We've ensured all power settings set to never sleep or turn off the display.

I'm curious if anyone else has run into this issue as well.

    Can you confirm if this happens when the ActiView is in use? 
    Is it the full Windows screen that goes black or the ActiView software?
    Does the same happen if you remove the USB/VGA cable from the ActiView?
