Panel with Android 5.1.1 wouldn't pick up an IP address

Is there any reason why one of your panels running Android 5.1.1 wouldn't pick-up an IP address from an active Ethernet connection? Tried today but it wouldn't get an IP. It said Ethernet connected but the IP stayed at 0.0.0.0. No networking at all. The connection worked fine for a laptop. There is no network security causing this.

    Are you connecting the ethernet into the ActivConnect or to the ActivPanel?

    If you are connecting to the ActivPanel, please connect to the LAN port on the ActivConnect G.
