For Promethean-branded Projectors experiencing this issue,
we would recommend first trying to make a direct VGA connection from the
computer to the VGA Ports on the projector, by-passing any additional hardware
(e.g. VGA splitters, extension cabling, wallboxes and connection plates). Also, we would recommend ensuring any filters
or intake vents on the projector have been vacuumed off and that a different
VGA cable be used to make the same direct connection to a different computer as
described above.
If this is not a Promethean Projector, we would recommend reaching
out to that projector’s manufacturer for assistance with the image being
displayed by that unit.
