Hi Sabrina,
Please ensure that you have the ActivDriver installed on the computer.
If you do not have this, or see this in your task bar please remove the USB cable from the computer which is connected to the ActivBoard and go to http://www.PrometheanKB.com and search for article 10902 and download the relevant driver for your operating system.
Once this has installed, please restart and re-connect the USB cable.
