If the ActivInspire software
on these computers is being used with a Touch Model ActivBoard or an ActivPanel
Touch, you will need to ensure that “Touch input handling “ in ActivInspire’s Settings
(File > Settings > Dual Mode ActivBoards) is set to “Touch and Stylus”
instead of “Treat as Select Tool”


If another model of
board is in use, check the ActivManager on the computers connected to the board;
if no hardware is detected, check the USB connection to that board and remove
any additional hardware in place (e.g. an extension cable or other adapter or
wallbox), using only a sing le length of USB cable to connect to the board’s electronics
from the computer.
