Hi – I had an offer to upgrade to a newer version of Active Inspire recently; it all seemed to go OK but now when I click on the AI icon on Desktop it says there is a newer version loaded and then gives me an error message. Why doesn’t the upgrade create a new icon and delete the old one… that would make sense. How to I create a new icon to run the upgraded software?
The executable file to run to open the ActivInspire Application is located either in C:Program FilesActiv SoftwareInspire (Inspire.exe – Windows) or ApplicationsPrometheanActivSoftware Inspire (Inspire.app – OS X). You can right-click on the file to create any shortcut or alias needed or drag the application to the taskbar or the dock to have a shortcut there.
