      Our school is now using Windows 8. I reinstalled the ActiView AV322 software, but it does not work. I looked online for a new driver and did not see one. The Promethean board makes a noise when I plug in the USB, but we cannot view anything. I have tried several ports. When I open ActiView, the only options are to X, power off or options. Power off does not work. I tried all the display options. Any help would be appreciated.

      The up-to-date installer for the ActiView Software and Driver can be downloaded from Article 10903 on our Knowledge Base, if needed.


      While connected to power does the LED on the base of the ActiView device light up?  If it does, press the power button on the device; does it change color then and does the software have more options available when opened after the device is powered on?
