I’m with a customer who is testing out their ActiView camera and when doing a video recording through ActivInspire, there is no sound playback. The PC recognizes the microphone in the camera but we cannot get sound. Thoughts?
Can you please confirm the model of your ActiView? You can find the model on the base of the unit.
Also can you please test another computer just to rule out the computer causing the issue.
It’s a 324. We’ve had the issue with two different cameras on two different computers.
How is the ActiView connected to the computer? Via USB only? Or are you also usinga VGA cable?Also ensure that you are using the latest driver for ActiView available at https://support.prometheanworld.com/product/actiview

Drivers are up to date. We had it hooked up with HDMI and USB.

We checked this case further and confirm that the function of the video recording using an ActiView in ActivInspire can only record video, not audio.
