I have a macbook running 10.8.5 using Activinspire version 1.8.64351. Activinspire is displaying only backgrounds and not the text even though the page browser shows it accurately. The flipchart only has 6 pages, each page has a different background. What can I do to solve this?

      Karin,

If you are experiencing this issue, it’s because your flipchart is corrupted. There is currently no recovery tool to retrieve the lost information of the flipchart file. The work around is to recreate the flipchart.

These are flipcharts the teacher uses each year.  She creates a duplicate and then edits the information.  The purpose of having flipcharts is so that the teacher does not have to re-create the same flipchart each year.  How do we get around this? What is the best way to use a flipchart from year to year?

      Karin,

We suggest to create a copy of the flipchart and leave it saved on the original computer from where it was created without use. There is no official work around to avoid the issue possibly happening. Adding too much information into the flipchart as well as transferring the files between different computer could potentially cause the file to become corrupted.

The files do reside on the computer and have not been transferred between computers.

      Karin,

Data corruption can also happen for reasons other than data
transfer. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to recover the lost data on
the flipchart. If you have concerns regarding this issue please contact our
technical support center and reference case number 00470856.
