      We are having issues connecting a Chromebook to ActivCast using the ActivCast Sender extension

      Is there any other info other than what is mentioned briefly on the Learn more section of Mirrored device area?

      Is the ActivCast software to which you are mirroring the Chromebook on an ActivConnect G (small silver box) or a ClassFlow Connect (slightly larger black box)?

      Are both the Chromebook and device to which the Chromebook is being mirrored connecting to the same network?

      Is any other device, such as a smartphone, tablet, or other computer, able to mirror to the same device?

      Hey Jarrad
      Yes, both are on the same network.  iPads are able to mirror over the same network but we cannot get the Chromebooks using the ActivCast sender extension to even recognize the ActivConnect G series box.

      Hi SBoland,

      Please can you ensure that you are using the latest version of the ActivConnect G-series? This is currently version 1.0.21.
      You can update this by following the steps on the below link:
      https://support.prometheanworld.com/article/?kb=1556

      Please check for any available updates to the ActivCast Extension and then test again with your ChromeBook.

      We are running the latest ActivConnect G series and have the latest extension update.  I am wondering if it is an issue with the extension.  We could get it to work on a laptop either.

      Are you able to type in the Connection ID instead?

      What happens exactly when you try to mirror via Chromebook?

      Hi SBoland,

      To see if this is something on the wireless network that may be stopping ActivCast, please could you try a wired internet connection to each device (the ActivConnect G-series and Chromebook) and see if this allows you to mirror.
