We have ActivPanel 80s with the Connect box which doesn’t allow us to use ActivInspire which I desperately want to use!  I want to connect directly to my computer.  Please help me with this!

Hi and thanks for posting on the Support Community.

We do have a short video explaining how to connect your computer to the ActivPanel so that you can use ActivInspire.
This video can be found on the link below:
      https://support.prometheanworld.com/video/activpanel-getting-started

You will need to use an HDMI or VGA cable to the ActivPanel from the computer. If you are using a VGA cable, you will also need the sound cable connecting to get sound working.
You will then need to use the USB cable for interactivity connecting from your ActivPanel to the computer.

The short video will show this along with how to download the ActivDriver.

      I hope this information helps.

      Kind regards,
      Adam

So that is the only way that we can have ActivInspire is to connect the ActivPanel to an actual computer, correct?  We can’t download via USB and install?  I am trying to see if there is a work around as you can see.  Just wanted to make sure that the actual connection to computer is our only option. Thank you so much!

      Hi Eftingen,

      Thank you for your reply.

ActivInspire is only compatible on Windows, Mac and Linux (12.04) operating systems. With the ActivConncet G-Series, this uses Android as the operating system which ActivInspire is not compatible with.

You would need to use a computer connected to the ActivPanel to use ActivInspire.

Alternatively, if you use the ClassFlow app on the ActivConnect, you can have the flipcharts saved to your account and imported into ClassFlow.
This way it is an online storage for all of your ActivInspire flipcharts.
For more information on ClassFlow please visit http://www.ClassFlow.com. If you require support for ClassFlow, please go to https://support.classflow.com.

      I hope this information helps.

      Kind regards,
      Adam
