I have a new computer with Windows 10 and installed ActivInspir. I’m having difficulty with product. Icons are too small; file import PDF is missing.

Something we have found to help with issues with our software displaying on high-DPI displays (especially if text objects are cut off in some way) is to adjust the text scaling setting in Windows’ settings.

To do so, right-click on the desktop and choose “Display settings” from the menu that appears. On the window that opens, there will be a slider underneath “Change the size of text, apps, and other items:” to adjust. Move that slider to the left to adjust the setting downwards to 100%. You will need to log out of Windows then back in for this setting to take effect. The icons and objects in the ActivInspire software should display as normal at that time.

In regards to the lack of an ‘Import PDF’ function, that is a feature of the Professional Edition of the ActivInspire software which can be unlocked with the entry of your Activation Key. This key will be 20 digits in length and start with either 0015 or 0016. If you have this key available, you can input that key (without dashes or spaces) by bringing up the End User License Agreement window through Help > About > Register.
