I am unable to open any flipcharts since I downloaded the update. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now cannot download the resource pack since I cannot open flipcharts. How do I fix this?

Thanks for posting.
Can you confirm what update that you had done? Was this a recent Mac update or ActivInspire update? If so, which one?
The resource pack is a separate file that is downloaded and needs to be opened within ActivInspire to install this content.
