When I’m showing how to solve a multiple step equation, I would like to show only one step at a time. Since I may have several of these equations on the same page, I can’t use the revealer for the entire page.

      Hi,

Have you tried using shapes (boxes) to cover the parts you want hidden, you could use multiple boxes and move them aside as you want to reveal the next step?

      Hi Wendy,

That will work but it seems cumbersome.  I was hoping there was a way to adjust the Revealer tool to be able to cover small sections of the page instead of the entire page.  Or, I’ve watched instructional math videos that look like they’re using Active Inspire and they use a lasso to click and drag to reveal various pieces of information.

That’s not a function in ActivInspire I’m familiar with, but I am sure there will be some avid ActivInspire users out there who will perhaps have a more elegant solution for this. Either way I would imagine it will involve a mouse click for each “reveal”.
