The onscreen keyboard does not show up when using a Mac. We have and 80% saturation of macs, and 75% saturation of Promethean Boards. I there a work around or a widget?

      Hi Christina,

Thank you for using our Community.
Can you tell me which iOs version is on the Macs and which version of ActivInspire you have installed?
You can check the Inspire version from the menu:  Help – About.

Most of the teachers have OSX 10.9.3 or higher. I have OSX 10.10.1. The ActiveInspire software version I am using is 2.0.653. In placing a call out to other teachers and trainers, no one on a mac can activate the onscreen keyboard.

      Christina,

The current version of ActivInspire no longer has the on screen keyboard feature. There is a work around for MAC users however. This should place the operating system keyboard tool up at the toolbar next to the time. You will go to your system preferences > keyboard > input sources and check the box at the bottom that says “show input menu in menu bar”. Once you see the keyboard tool, click on it and select show keyboard viewer.
