InactiveHi Susan, Do you have Java installed on your system at the moment? If you don’t then please download and install the latest version. If you do have it installed please can you ensure it is fully up to date.
Please let us know if this corrects your issue.

InactiveI have Java installed and it is the latest version (14. july 2015) but there is nothing in the java-folder (in the Inspire-folder).
Can I copy this folder (C:Program Files (x86)Java) into this folder C:/program files(x86)/Active Software/Inspire/Java ? -

Thanks for your patience, I have sent an email to your registered email address and I have attached the contents of my Inspire Java folder, if these make it through on the email, you should be able to put these in the folder on your computer. The path is C:Program Files (x86)Activ SoftwareInspirejava
Please let us know if this corrects the issue!

I’ve got the same problem with the equation editor, too. Everytime I want to start/ use it, I’m getting an error that Java isn’t installed.
I have installed the latest version of Java and ActivInspire.May You help?

InactiveJarrad send me a zipped archive. I expanded it to the Java folder. After that the equation editor works very well.

InactiveThanks for the link. Unfortunatelly it’s not working with this folder. I had the same files in the java-folder already. I hope I can fix the problem anyway. I need it more my master thesis :/

InactiveI detect the reason for the error: I worked with Java 64-bit. Since I installed the 32-bit Version, too, it’s working.

InactiveI get this error message everytime i want to use the maths equation:
“Failed to load the Java run town environment, please install the latest Java runtown environment to it’s default location “
I have installed the latest (java) version yet I still get this message.
How do I fix this? -
