I have a activboard 300pro with the ActivWall TP-1850-V05 having a short throw arm (not an extra short throw). I currently have a PRM35 projector which is now becoming faded and does not show a sharp image. I need a recommendation of a projector that I can simply replace it with on the current attachment. Does anyone have advice?
I am unable to buy a PRM35 or 45 from new and don’t want to take chances on the quality of a used model from ebay.

    Hi GMU21,

    Thanks for posting.
Have you tried another lamp in the PRM-35 projector at all? As the faded image could be relating to this.

Have you tried looking for the PRM-45a (the ‘a’ has 2x HDMI ports instead) at all to see if this model is still available as this is a direct replacement for the PRM-35 and PRM-45.

We do have a UST-P2 projector that can be retrofitted to your Promethean stand depending on which version of stand is being used, you would need the upgrade kit too.

Instructions on how to fit this for the V4 stand can be found here:
    https://support.prometheanworld.com/files/public/pdfs/TP-2069-V01.pdf
    For a V3 stand:

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

    Kind regards,

    Hi GMU21,

    Thank you for your reply.

I would recommend contacting those that sold the ActivBoard and projector originally to see if they are able to assist but if you are not sure, we would recommend filling in a form on the below link and our internal sales teams will contact you regarding a reseller in your area.

    I hope this information helps.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
