ParticipantI downloaded the new ActivDriver and noticed in the ReadMe file that the ActivBridge was replaced with an ActivRelay. I know that BrainPOP was a partner, and I believe still is. I used to be able to directly take the quizzes using my Expressions. Is that what ActivRelay is going to be for? Is that going to be an option again? If not, what is Activ Relay going to do for me?

InactiveHello,
Thank you for your post.
ActivRelay is a new component which allows you to integrate the current Promethean hardware with CLASSFLOW.
We no longer support FlashBridge. To use any 3rd party software such as BrainPop which relies on Flashbridge, you will need to remain on the older driver. Any issues will need to be raised with BrainPop.
Please let us know if you would like us to email you an older driver.
Thank you,
Craig

InactiveMac OS X 10.9.5
ActivDriver 5.14.21
ActivInspire Version: Version: 2.8.66693
ActivMgr fails to connect to Promethean board ABV378PRO as of this morning.
USB cable connected directly to board and laptop.Mac Console log reports “(ActivRelay[xxxx] Exited with code: 252” followed by “(ActivRelay) Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds” continuously.
Does the error code of 252 suggest a cause of the problem?
I received a link to updated firmware but cannot install firmware unless the board connects to laptop.

InactiveAdam:
Permissions were all ok. It did not make sense that the board did not connect and the ActivRelay error code written to the console was a red herring. It turns out that the teacher had connected the wrong USB cable to her laptop. I found the problem when I was going to test a known working laptop by connecting it to the board. My apologies for wasting your time.

InactiveHi Jeff,
It’s not a problem at all, these things do happen from time to time.
Glad to hear that all is well with the ActivBoard.
Enjoy your day.
Kind regards,
Adam
