      Hi, I just got a new computer for home with Windows 10. I have installed the latest version of ActivInspire and upgraded to the full version. (V. 2.5.66477).

      I have changed the resolution and icon zoom to fix the size of the toolbar and be able to see flipcharts created on other computers clearly. So I am running the computer at 1600X900 resolution with icons at 100% zoom. 

      I am unable to use the screen record option. It records my voice but not just has a black screen on the video. Any advice on how to make this functional?

      Good morning Rachel,

      Thank you for posting on the Support Community.

      With regard to this issue the screen record feature is only available as part of the Professional edition of the software.

      You will need to enter your ActivInspire license key into ActivInspire to upgrade your current version from the Personal to Professional.

      Hello Rachel,

      Let’s please verify your version. Open the ActivInspire software and select HELP/ABOUT. In bold lettering at the top of the window it will say either Personal or Professional.

      Hi,
      Thanks for also posting on the Support Community.

      So we can investigate this issue please could you help to answer the below questions?

      In which program is the resulting recording playing when
      opened? Are you able to open the resulting recording in any other software,
      such as Windows Media Player or QuickTime?

      Also, does the video open and play without any problems when
      transferred to a different computer and played there?

      Hello. I have a similar problem. v2.6.66568, Windows 10. When I play back a recording in Windows Media Player or VLC, only about 1/4 of the screen (top left) is visable.  This means that I can’t make worthwhile videos.

      Was the same issue present in previous versions of ActivInspire? Or has this just been present since upgrading to 2.6?

      I think it is only since upgrading to 2.6 but I couldn’t be sure.
