At our district we have an ActivPanel® Titanium™ AP7_B70 and have a staff member that is looking to create slides using ActivInspire from a pc. Is this possible, and if so what is the best way to copy or transfer the flipcharts over and what program is needed to open them?

      Hello Jeremy,

      Thank you for your post.

You would need to create the flipchart in ActivInspire on a computer. If you wanted to use the flipcharts on the ActivPanel, you would need to connect the computer to the ActivPanel to use them.

ActivInspire flipcharts cannot be opened on an app or the ActivPanel. You would need to use a connected computer.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

      Kind regards,

Is there still not a way to open up a flipchart directly from the ActivPanel? Since these are both Promethean products, it does seem that there should be a way to open them up from your connected Drive account. If not, is there something in development that will remedy this?

      Hi Chris!

Thank you for checking in with us. ActivInspire still requires a full operating system, i.e. Windows, Mac or Linux to operate. To develop an app based version basically re-developing the software, so for the moment we have no updates to provide around this.

You can open ActivInspire Flipcharts with our online software ClassFlow, but once the file is converted to a ClassFlow Lesson, you can’t convert the changes back to the Flipchart file.

For all future updates, we will always post an announcement as soon as anything becomes available, so do make sure to subscribe to the announcement section and you will receive an automated email.

I will make sure to add your feedback to our enhancement request for this,

      Thank you,

      Kind regards,

      Promethean Technical Support
