  Can you use android tablets with the Promethean board? Are there certain programs that interact well? I am mostly interested in a photo manipulation and draw program.

  Hi Debbi,
  You will most likely need a form of third party adapter to connect to the projector. The projector will then display what is on your tablet device to the ActivBoard. However you will be unable to get the ActivBoard to work with the pens and your tablet as this requires the ActivDriver which can only be installed on Windows/Mac/Linux operating systems.

  So if I have a laptop in the class can this have the driver installed? It already has the ActivInspire programming installed.

  The ActivDriver can be installed on any computer on which the ActivInspire software can be installed. If needed, that up-to-date ActivDriver can be downloaded from our Knowledge Base (http://www.prometheankb.com) , in Article 10902
