  I need to delete myself from this account as it won’t let me open my new school one, and keeps reverting to a very old login.

  You can click on your profile name and select profile> Account information and you have the option of closing your account.
  
  Have you tried to sign out of the forums and log in with your school account?
  This may be relating to your browser, try and log in from another browser such as Chrome/Internet explorer/Firefox and see if the issue persists.
