      Hello.

I have areally huge problem. Yesterday I was testing screen share function on Promethean Cobalt and it worked well after few times of tryng to connect pc to tv. But today it just stopped working. I kept trying to connect but the app on pc just turns off randomly. Any fixes?

      Good morning Adomas,

      Thank you for your post.

Does ScreenShare turn off randomly only on this computer you are using or does it happen on others as well?

Please, have a look at the following article on the system requirements for ScreenShare: https://support.prometheanworld.com/article/1770.

It might be worth to clear cache and data on the ScreenShare app and to whitelist the ScreenShare URL, as explained in this article: https://support.prometheanworld.com/article/1796/.

Please, do not hesitate to get back in touch should you have any more queries.

      Kind regards,

      Arianna

      Good morning,

I too am experiencing this issue. I do not believe it is the network because many of our devices do not have this issue and are using the same network. This is happening on our new HP 435 x360 laptops with AMD Ryzen architecture. Did you ever find a solution?

      Hello Sean,

Are you sending from a Windows or a Mac computer?

Are you screen sharing to the ActivPanel or the ActivConnect unit?

If sharing to the panel, what version of mainboard firmware is running on the panel?   If assistance is needed in locating this information then please refer to the following helpful article on our support portal:  https://support.prometheanworld.com/article/1627/

Also, if sharing to the panel you may want to ensure the latest version of firmware is running.  You can update online by going to the Locker, clicking Update then selecting Check For Updates.

      Kind Regards,

      Karen
